Gabriela
Bo was born in 1980, in Paraguay. Her zodiacal sign is Aries.
She is the second child in the marriage of Nicolas Bo and
Lia Cristina Amaral Cemino. Her family owns a tobacco factory,
a 5-star hotel, a shopping mall, the Noticias newspaper, Canal
13 Teledifusora Paraguaya, and real estate. She became famous
on account of her relationship with mexican singer Cristian
Castro. They met on January 2003 in Punta del Este (Uruguay),
and quickly became romantically involved. A couple of months
later,on March 8th they got married in an elegant ceremony
at her parents' home in Asuncion, Paraguay.
Everything
seemed to be fine with the young couple; Gabriela even appeared
in Castro's videoclip for the song "No hace falta",
and on the cover of the album "Amar Es." In the
clip, Gabriela portrays a geisha, and Castro even compared
her to one by saying she was "reserved, sexy, and attentive."
Unfortunately, this love story ended painfully for Gabriela:
three days before their first wedding anniversary Cristian
Castro petitioned for divorce in a Miami court without telling
Gabriela. She and her family learned abut the divorce process
through rumors in gossip programs and the internet.
Their
divorce sentence became final soon after Castro presented
it. Since then, Gabriela has appeared in many interviews accusing
Castro of infidelity and domestic abuse. A couple of months
later Castro re-married Valeria Liberman, an argentinean lawyer,
while Gabriela moved back to Paraguay. Not all has been bad
for Gabriela, though. Due to the scandal that surrounded her
divorce, she has become quite popular. She has posed for many
magazines, including Maxim en Español, and has been
offered roles in soap operas.
